The Office of Small Business delivers the Mentoring for Growth programs to businesses to grow, address commercial challenges and become investment ready. Mentoring for Growth matches business needs with industry experience. The Office of Small Business partners with regional centres, commercialisation and technology partner organisations and business and industry stakeholders to provide access to the program.
Mentoring for Growth (M4G) panels are delivered with the support of business experts and professionals from the private sector. The program assists eligible small businesses by providing access to a panel of business mentors who can help address commercial challenges.
Challenges facing businesses may include business strategy, management and governance, technology and intellectual property, market and export expansion and investment readiness.
The owners, directors and managers of innovative Queensland enterprises discuss key business growth issues with the mentoring panel who provide ideas and suggestions drawn from business knowledge, broad experience and specific expertise. One or two key challenges for each business are addressed during structured, panel meetings. There is no fee to access this program.
M4G panels are held across the State.
