Public swimming pool approval - Bundaberg Regional Council - Queensland

Description

You will need this approval to operate a public or shared swimming pool. Approval is required for swimming pools which are used for a commercial purpose. Approval is needed for pools that are located on residential premises where the pool is shared between more than two dwelling units, such as a townhouse complex. Examples of public or shared pools include the following:

  • aquatic centres
  • learn to swim pools
  • gym and health centre pools
  • hydrotherapy pools (including flotation therapy pools, recovery pools)
  • holiday accommodation pools
  • club pools
  • private school pools
  • swimming pools under a body corporate of a group subdivision scheme (where there are three or more dwellings).
