Registration by a Corporation as a Surveyor - Queensland

Description

This registration is required for a person to operate as a surveyor.

It is up to the applicant to obtain a copy of the Surveyors Act 2003.

You must currently be registered as a surveyor with a consulting surveyor.

Duration

This registration remains in effect until 31 December each year and is renewed in the period from October to December.

Application process

Submit the apporpriate application form to the Board.  A corporation who intends to practice as a surveyor will be required to pay an application fee plus an annual registration fee.

The following documents must be submitted with the application:

  • Copy of Professional Indemnity Insurance (min $1,000,000) or Certificate of Currency
  • Copy of the current Business Letterhead.

Approval by the Board Members during a Board Meeting is required before the registration is granted.

Transfer process

This registration cannot be transferred.
