Responsible management of licensed venues (RMLV) approved trainer - Queensland

Description

Trainers who are approved by the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) may issue certificates to anyone who successfully completes the responsible management of licensed venues (RMLV) course.

Duration

RMLV approvals are valid for 1 year and must be renewed every year.

Application process

All applicants need to complete:

  • Form 47: Application for trainer approval in responsible management of licensed venues course
  • Application to nominate a new senior trainer.

Note: All approved trainers must nominate a senior trainer. The nominated senior trainer must be a trainer who delivers the relevant training on a regular basis and maintains currency of certain qualifications. OLGR maintains a record of each approved trainer's senior trainer.

If an approved trainer wishes to nominate a new senior trainer, they must complete:

  • Application to nominate a new senior trainer.

Transfer process

This approval cannot be transferred.

Additional information

The Queensland Government is no longer responsible for regulating trainers who offer responsible service of alcohol (RSA) or responsible service of gaming (RSG).

The Australian Government is now responsible for regulating the following nationally accredited training:

  • SITHFAB009A: Provide responsible service of alcohol
  • SITHGAM006A: Provide responsible gambling services.
