Sale of Goods (Vienna Convention) Act 1986 - Queensland


The object of the Act is to give effect within Queensland to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The Act regulates the international sale of goods including:

  • formation of the contract
  • general provisions for the sale of goods
  • obligations of seller and buyer
  • remedies for breach of contract
  • passing of risk.
