Solicitors Practising Certificate - Queensland

Description

This certificate is required by any person practising as a solicitor in Queensland except employees of State and Commonwealth Governments.

Applicants must be admitted to the Roll of Legal Practitioners.

Duration

This certificate remains in effect for 12 months from 1 July to 30 June the following year. Applications for renewal must be lodged by 31 May.

You can obtain this certificate by submitting an application for a Solicitors Practising Certificate and paying the necessary fees. For further information contact the Queensland Law Society Incorporated.

Applicants for Principal Level Certificates must also comply with the continuing legal education rules and the indemnity rules.

Transfer

This certificate cannot be transferred.
