Application process

You can obtain this licence by completing the Application to Chief Executive for a strychnine permit and submitting it to the agency at the address specified.

The agency will conduct searches to ascertain your acceptability as an applicant for this permit. The agency may also conduct an inspection of your property to assess its suitability for strychnine use.

Transfer

This permit cannot be transferred.

Additional information

The quantity of strychnine being applied for in the permit will be scrutinised by the agency to ensure that the quantity is not in excess of that needed for the stated purpose.

The agency will contact the Department of Natural Resources and Mines to ascertain the appropriateness of the issue of a strychnine permit.
