Valuation Information Service & Advisory Service - Queensland

Description

This support service is provided to assist business by providing relevant property information with regard to land sales, statutory valuation information and general advice on making and purpose of a valuation.

The department can provide information on statutory valuations and sales and client valuations. This information is available through any of the district offices.

Business can obtain the following information:

  • details of sales and valuations over the counter on an individual basis or in bulk
  • on-line computer access of the Department's records via an agency agreement. Subscription to this service can be obtained through a licensed agent.
  • general understanding of what is a valuation
  • how the valuation can be used

Fees

A scale of charges applies for valuation data. Once-off small quantity searches are available through your regional valuation business centre.  For Bulk data, and for information on the department's government valuation and property advisory service, contact valuation.enquiries@dnrm.qld.gov.au.

Fees apply for client valuations as per a recommended schedule provided by the Australian Property Institute.

Additional information

Client valuations are generally undertaken for State Government or similar bodies.
