What Support is Provided?

Grow Help Australia offers a comprehensive service for the diagnosis of pests, diseases and disorders in horticultural corps and new crops. The group has special expertise in plants associated with amenity horticulture, such as nursery and cut flower crops. Recommendations on appropriate control measures are provided where available.

Grow Help Australia offers a plant health service which includes:

  • rapid and accurate diagnoses and analyses
  • unbiased and up-to-date remedial advice
  • specialist staff and facilities
  • protection of clients confidential information
  • extensive experience in tropical and sub-tropical crops.

Accurate diagnoses depend on careful selection and packaging of specimens, together with their rapid delivery and the provision of detailed information surrounding the problem. Further advice can be obtained by ringing the contact office.

Additional information

Samples must be of good quality to allow for the best possible chances of isolating the causal disease organism. As much as possible, send in whole plants or multiple whole plants. Some of the plant tissue should not have symptoms, some should have intermediate symptoms others should have bad symptoms. Never send in a dead plant.
