Description

This code is intended for persons with an obligation under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, including managers of horse riding schools, trail riding establishments and horse hiring establishments as well as their workers, workplace health and safety officers and representatives.

The code states ways to manage exposure to risks associated with handling horses, the machinery, equipment, substances and work practices found in horse riding schools, trail riding establishments and horse hiring establishments and what should be considered to safeguard the health and safety of workers, clients and visitors to the premises.
