Stationary vehicle/stall and roadside vending (Southern Downs) - Queensland

Description

You need this licence to:

  • erect, use or occupy a stall/stationary vehicle to sell, let, hire, advertise, broadcast or offer any goods or other thing, or display goods for sale
  • travel about within the council area for the purpose of selling goods.

You must ensure that zoning is appropriate and you may require a recreational areas licence.

Council regulates this activity to:

  • provide for public safety and the safe movement of traffic
  • protect public and private property, roads and public places.
