Valuers Registration Act 1992 - Queensland

Description

The object of the Act is to provide a measure of protection for the public through the registration of valuers of land and to improve the standard of valuers in Queensland by setting education, experience and professional conduct requirements.

The Act prescribes the registration of valuers of land in Queensland and defines the composition, administrative procedures and powers of the Valuers Registration Board.

It further allows for disciplinary action and penalties where breaches of the Act occur and prohibits unregistered persons from practising as valuers.
