Commercial Marine Mammal Interaction Permit - South Australia


A Commercial Marine Mammal Interaction Permit provides permission for a business to undertake marine mammal interactions for fee or reward that:

  • are conducted within a prescribed area; or
  • require an approval under another provision of the NPWMM Regulations.

A permit is not required when licence holders use accredited guides to undertake beach tours at Seal Bay Conservation Park in accordance with their licence conditions.

Eligibility requirements

Persons proposing to undertake marine mammal interaction tours should contact the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources to establish whether they require a permit.

$422 Application fee (excluding GST).
