An Exempt Display Permit may be granted to a person authorising the conduct of a specified fireworks display or specified series of fireworks displays in the course of a specified event. This display must be conducted for public or community purposes by or on behalf of a prescribed body and it is not practicable to engage an licensed pyrotechnician, due to the distance that would need to be travelled.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
From 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018:$31.75 application fee.
