You will need to meet the relevant academic and practical requirements to be eligible for a practising certificate. Details can be found in the attached document.
You will need to complete a period of restricted or supervised practice before you will be entitled to practice without restriction or supervision.
You will need to hold professional indemnity insurance under the relevant South Australian scheme if you intend to practice privately, unless:
- you are employed or engaged by a law practice that has paid the required amount
- you are employed by an entity that is not a law practice and you do not intend to exercise a right of private practice.
