An authority is required for the manufacture, storage, transport, import or export, purchase or acquisition, sale or supply and use or disposal of Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate (SSAN) for the use as fertiliser.

A certificate of incorporation must be attached to the application.
A National Police Clearance Certificate is required for each person who has the unsupervised access to the ammonium nitrate. Any new employees will need ASIO clearance obtained through SafeWork SA.
