Permit to Import or Export a Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate - South Australia


You will need this permit if you intend to import or export security sensitive ammonium nitrate (SSAN). SSAN is a blend of ammonium nitrate that contains greater than 45% ammonium nitrate.

A licence holder must give at least 7 days notice where SSAN is imported from or exported to a place outside Australia.

Only SSAN that have been authorised and classified in South Australia may be imported into the state.
