This licence permits the taking of prawns on Gulf St. Vincent, Spencer Gulf and the West Coast of South Australia.
No new licences are being issued by the Department. Licences are only available by transfer from an existing licence holder.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
Applicants can either be a natural person a minimum of 15 years of age, or a proprietary or public company, be nominated by an existing licence holder and have not within three years of the date of application been convicted in the State or elsewhere in Australia of an offence involving a breach of any legislation relating to fishing.
Annual (expires 30 June).
$431 transfer fee; annual fees vary dependent on the fishery
