Third Party Accreditation as a Compliance Tester of Diagnostic X-ray Apparatus - South Australia

Description

The Third Party Certification (TPC) program was established by the EPA to enable compliance testing of diagnostic X-ray apparatus by independent and accredited testers. For each apparatus tested, the accredited person will be required to provide the EPA with a compliance statement and the owner with a test report.

If you wish to become accredited to perform compliance testing in South Australia, you will need to submit an application to the EPA.

All compliance testers must have a licence to operate an ionising radiation apparatus. Persons applying for accreditation who already have such a licence need not submit another licence application (for a licence to operate an ionising radiation apparatus) but will still need to submit an application for accreditation.
