Training Contract - South Australia

Description

Employers must be approved to employ and train on the job for a particular declared trade or vocation. Once approved an employer can enter into a training contract. A training contract is a legally binding agreement between the trainee or apprentice and the employer, which is registered with the Training and Skills Commission.

Additional information

A National Training Contract form must be completed and forwarded to an Australian Apprenticeships Centre, from which it will be forwarded to Traineeship and Apprenticeship Services. The Training Contract details the rights and obligations of the parties.

The employer and apprentice or trainee jointly select a Registered Training Organisation and develop the Training Plan.
