Certificate of Occupancy - South Australia

Description

A certificate of occupancy is required to occupy a building on which building work has been carried out. The certificate certifies that the building is suitable for occupation and complies with the Regulations. This certificate is not required in respect of a Class 1a or 10 building under the Building Code. An application must be accompanied by a written statement from the builder responsible for the building work that the building has been carried out in accordance with the relevant approval.
