Licence for a Supported Residential Facility - South Australia

Description

Proprietors of supported residential facilities may need to ensure that the premises is licensed. The manager of the facility may also need to be approved by the Council. A supported residential facility is a premise at which residential accommodation and personal care services are provided (other than to immediate family members). Examples include rest homes, boarding houses, hostels and retirement villages which provide personal care services, such as assistance with personal hygiene, nursing care, mobility assistance, medication management, rehabilitation or management of personal finances.
