Agricultural Aircraft Operator Licence - Tasmania

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to operate an aerial spraying business that involves the application of agricultural chemicals. This licence is not required for the aerial application of fertilisers, as they are not regarded as agricultural chemical products.

Agricultural aircraft operators do not need to hold a Commercial Operator Licence, as this licence only applies to ground-spraying activities.

This licence is a business licence. As the owner of the business, if you also intend to pilot an aircraft carrying out aerial spraying, you will also need to hold a Pilot (Chemical Rating) Licence.
