Description

You will require this approval if you intend to deposit sharp medical instruments at a specified collection area. Approved methods of the disposal of sharps will vary.

Sharp medical instruments include, but are not limited to:

  • Needles or syringes with needles;
  • Intravenous sets;
  • Pasteur pipettes;
  • Scalpel blades; and
  • Other sharp objects of a medical nature.
