AS / NZS 4801 Occupational Health and Safety Systems - Specification with Guidance for Use - Tasmania

Description

If you are a gas entity and intend to operate a gas facility, you must submit a safety and operating plan. The plan must comply with this and other standards set out in legislation.

A gas entity is a person that holds a Gas Supply Industry Licence. A gas facility is a system, service or facility that relates to the distribution, control, conveyance, measurement or retail sale of gas.

This standard specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its occupational health and safety performance.
