Certificate of Compliance: Standard for Radiation Place for Radiation Apparatus: Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Units - Tasmania

Description

You must comply with this standard if you intend to register a place or premise where magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and nuclear magnetic resonance units are stored or operated.

A place is defined as including vacant land, premises and vehicles.

Premises include:

  • A building or structure;
  • Land on which a building or structure is situated; and
  • A part of any such building, structure or land.

Vehicles mean anything used for transporting anything or person by land, water or air.

A certificate of compliance will only be issued if the place is seen to fully comply with the requirements described in this standard.
