Certificate of Exemption of a Fertiliser - Tasmania

Description

This certificate exempts a fertiliser from compliance with legislation. A fertiliser is defined as any substance likely to increase plant growth by supplying nutrients to plants or positively effecting soil conditions for that purpose. These substances are prescribed in legislation.

Fertiliser does not include:

  • Farmyard or stable manure;
  • Humus;
  • Seaweed;
  • Crude night-soil;
  • Crude offal; or
  • Crude refuse or crude waste which is untreated or undried.
