Permit work is classified as high-risk work and requires the issuing of a permit, yet notifiable work does not and is classified as medium-risk work.
A certificate of likely compliance is a statement obtained from the relevant authority. It certifies that the proposed work is likely to meet the requirements of the National Construction Code and will comply with relevant legislation.
