Commercial Wallaby Hunters Licence - Tasmania


You will require this licence if you intend to hunt wallaby commercially. You will only be allowed to hunt wallaby during the open season specified in the licence. Commercial hunting of wallaby involves taking their skin or meat to sell.

Skin and meat must only be sold to the holder of relevant accreditation.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • provide a completed application form that includes your firearms licence number and date of birth
  • pay any required fees.

If you intend to sell game animal carcases (meat) then you must provide a copy of a Certificate in Meat Processing (Game Meat Hunters and Shooters).
