Firearm Heirlooms Licence - Tasmania

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to possess any heirloom firearm. An heirloom firearm means a firearm inherited from an immediate or close relative and can be a single firearm or a matched pair of firearms.

Heirloom firearms must be rendered permanently incapable of being fired.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must produce evidence that the heirloom firearm has been inherited.

It is a condition of this licence that the licence holder is familiar and willing to comply with all relevant and current State and Commonwealth legislation.
