You are required to comply with these guidelines if you:

  • operate as a medical or allied health practitioner
  • operate a hospital
  • operate a medical laboratory that examines medical patients or samples.

These guidelines are designed to ensure that the government receives early information regarding the occurrence of notifiable diseases, human pathogenic organisms and contaminants.
