Guidelines on Monitoring During Anaesthesia - Tasmania

You will need to comply with these guidelines if you are an anaesthetist or medical practitioner working in a private hospital responsible for patient monitoring during anaesthesia.

These guidelines outline the required monitoring and appropriate devices to properly care for patients undergoing general anaesthesia, major regional anaesthesia or sedation. Some or all of the guidelines may need to be exceeded depending on the results of the patient assessment at the pre-anaesthesia consultation.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
