Licence to Import a Raw Narcotic or Narcotic Substance - Tasmania

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to import into Tasmania a raw narcotic (such as opium poppies) or a narcotic substance. Narcotic substances are substances specified in Schedule 8 to the Poisons List.

The Poisons List refers to Part 4 and Appendix C of the Uniform Standard or the Uniform Scheduling of Medicines and Poisons (SUSMP), as it is also sometimes referred to. A copy of this document can be obtained via the Agency.
