Liquor Licence - Off Licence - Tasmania

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to sell alcohol for consumption off your premises. Off Licences are often issued to liquor stores, drive-in bottle shops, mixed businesses and home delivery businesses. This licence authorises the sale of alcohol between the hours of 5am and 12 midnight daily.

If you intend to sell liquor between 12 midnight and 5am, you will need to apply for an out-of-hours permit.

If you intend to sell alcohol for consumption on the licensed premises, you will also need to be granted an on permit. That permit may be granted in circumstances such as a specific occasion or for wine tasting, but will not be granted to authorise the general sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises.
