Permit to Camp or Keep a Caravan in a Reserve, Park, Council Land or any Public Place - Tasmania

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to camp, occupy a building as sleeping or living quarters or keep a caravan on:

  • Council land that is not part of designated camping ground or caravan park;
  • A public recreation reserve / reserve / park; or
  • Any other public place.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, the caravan:

  • Must not have an adverse affect on the amenities of the neighbourhood;
  • Must contain satisfactory water and sewage facilities; and
  • Must not be likely to cause a health hazard.
