Pipeline Standards - Pressure Vessels - Tasmania


You will be required to comply with these standards if you intend to use pressure vessels in relation to the operation of a gas pipeline. A pressure vessel is a closed container designed to hold gas at a pressure substantially different to the normal pressure. The standards that you need to comply with are:

  • AS 1210 Pressure vessels
  • AS 3788 Pressure equipment - In-service inspection
  • AS 4343 Pressure equipment - Hazard levels.
