You need to be registered to practise as a chiropractor in Australia. Chiropractors undertake the manipulation of the cervical spine. The title of chiropractor is protected and you must be registered to use it.

The types of activities considered a part of chiropractor may be updated or changed from time to time.

There are four different types of registration offered to practitioners:

  • general
  • limited
  • non-practising
  • student.
