Registration of Mooring - Tasmania

Description

You may require this registration if you intend to moor a boat in Tasmanian waters. Due to demand for a share of sheltered waters state-wide, for all kinds of aquatic activity, moorings are strictly regulated.

Rules apply to where moorings can go and the quality of moorings, and once in place a mooring must not be moved or interfered with without approval.

You will be required to maintain moorings in good order and condition. It is compulsory to lift and inspect the mooring at least once every two years.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information.
