Registration of Premises Used for a Public Health Risk Activity - Tasmania

Description

You will require this registration if you intend to operate a premises where public health risk activities will be undertaken. Public health risk activities include:

  • Skin penetration procedures (for example acupuncture procedures, tattooing, body or ear piercing); and
  • Any other activities which may result in the transmission of disease.

This approval licences the premises only. A separate licence is required to undertake the public health risk activities themselves. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information.

To be eligible for this registration your application must be:

  • In an approved form;
  • Lodged with the relevant Council; and
  • Accompanied by the relevant fees.
