Special Employee or Technician Licence - Gaming - Tasmania

Description

You will require this licence if you are an employee of a gaming establishment and you intend to perform the following types of duties:

  • keno writer
  • gaming machine attendant or supervisor
  • technician (Class A or B)
  • casino security or management
  • betting exchange operative.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • undergo a probity investigation
  • provide four recent passport photographs signed by an acceptable witness
  • supply any relevant competency certificates
  • pay any required fees.

In order to be considered to be a suitable person to be involved in the conduct of a gaming business, your character, honesty, and integrity will be taken into consideration.
