Accreditation of Medical Practitioner to Issue WorkCover Certificates - Tasmania

Description

You will require this accreditation if you intend to issue WorkCover certificates to employees who have become ill or sustained an injury during the course of their work and are pursuing a workers? compensation claim.

In addition to this accreditation, you may also undergo further training to be certified to provide assessment of permanent impairment from work related injuries.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this accreditation you must:

  • be a licensed medical practitioner
  • complete all necessary forms and documentation
  • meet the industry criteria.

Duration

36 months for medical practitioners. 12 months for interns.
