Approval of a Water Quality Auditor - Tasmania

Description

You will require this approval if you intend to undertake the activities of a water quality auditor.

A water quality auditor is an independent reviewer who undertakes systematic audits of Drinking Water Quality Management Plans (DWQMP) with the primary objective of protecting public health through the provision of safe drinking water.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this approval, you must have:

  • a degree in engineering, science or medicine
  • at least seven years of relevant industry experience
  • experience in developing Drinking Water Quality Management Plans (DWQMP) and in implementing the Tasmanian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines (TDWQG).

Applicants must also be able to demonstrate no conflicts of interest that would impact their ability to objectively conduct audits.
