Description

You will require this registration if you intend to shoe or plate any thoroughbreds being trained by a trainer for the purpose of racing.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible for registration you must:

  • Submit a Consent to Release Criminal Record form (if you are over 18 years of age);
  • Provide Certificate or Letter of Competency from Farriers Association;
  • Submit the required forms and supporting documentation; and
  • Pay the prescribed fees.
