Alternative Fuel Systems Assessment and Certification Scheme (AFSACS) Provider - Victoria

Description

Only businesses with an Alternative Fuel Systems Assessment and Certification Scheme (AFSACS) agreement are approved to work on vehicles with gas fuel systems. The AFSACS regulates and supports the industry responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing these systems.

You must demonstrate that you meet the requirements for becoming an AFSAC provider. These are set out in the AFSACS provider facilities and equipment checklist (PDF). If you meet the requirements, you will need to obtain the following:

  • national police check
  • proof of qualification.
