Description

You will need this consent from your local council if you intend to name a road. There are two circumstances in which you can apply for this consent:

  • A new road has been established and you intend to provide it with a name.
  • An existing road is being renamed and you intend to select the new name.

Your local council will consider your application and advise you as to whether you will receive consent.
