You will require this licence if you intend to operate an interactive gaming service for an approved game (that is not a prohibited game for the purposes of this licence) as defined under the legislation. An interactive game is a game in which:
- a prize is offered or can be won under the rules of the game
- a player participates in the game by means of a telecommunication device and pays money to participate in the game
- the winner is decided wholly or partly by chance or as a result of the player's skill.
A wagering and betting licensee may, by notice to the Commission, appoint as operator a company that is whole-owned subsidiary by the licensee, has a physical place of business in Victoria and is approved by the Commission.
