Licence to Collect and Sell Semen - Victoria

Description

You will require this licence if you are operating a farm and intend to collect semen from livestock at your property for insemination purposes. You cannot collect semen for sale at your property unless you hold this licence.

In addition, it is illegal to sell semen from a sire unless that sire has been approved for collection of semen for sale by the Agency (a sire is a bull or other male livestock). The sire will only be approved if it is free from disease.

Please consult the responsible agency for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
