Permit to Deposit Night Soil - Victoria

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to deposit, discharge or dispose of any night soil, liquid mixture of night soil, liquid mixture of human waste, sewerage or excrement. Approval is required to deposit, discharge or dispose of such matter onto any land, or into any surfaced water or watercourse.

A permit is not required when the place it is deposited, discharged or disposed of is:

  • a premise that is already subject to Environment Protection Authority Works Approval and Licence
  • otherwise authorised by the Environment Protection Authority and your local Council
  • a sewerage system or an approved septic system.
