Permit to Burn Windrow or Heaps - Victoria

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to burn, or allow to be burnt, windrows or heaps during periods of high fire danger, as declared by the local Fire Authority. It is recommended that you contact your local council to ascertain whether it is a period of high fire danger prior to lighting the fire.

If cutting down any vegetation, and residue material to be burnt exceeds 300 cubic metres, a permit to burn must be obtained prior to cutting down vegetation.
