Collection of domestic firewood must not commence until a written permit is issued and appropriate fees are paid, and must be carried out in compliance with all Acts, Local Laws and Regulations and the conditions, set out in the permit.
Applicants wanting to collect firewood should submit a letter providing their contact details, the proposed location, date and time of collection and the amount they will be taking and what they will be using it for.
You will also need Public Liability Insurance for $10,000,000 and a Traffic Management Plan that meets the Australian Standard.
